About
My Small Towns is a local business directory for Northeast Florida. It covers Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau and St. Johns counties.
The idea behind it is simple: before you call a business, you should be able to see who you’d be dealing with. Listings can include a short video introduction from the owner, along with the services they offer and the areas they serve. We also publish articles to help you compare services and prices, and a tool that gives you a second opinion on quotes you’ve received.
When locals buy from locals, more of that money stays in the community. Making that easier is why this site exists.
Who runs it
My Small Towns is run by Mike Finocchiaro. Mike grew up in Miami and has lived in Northeast Florida for more than eight years, where he is raising his three children. He also owns gravityGone, a web design and digital marketing business in Clay County, which is listed in this directory.
How businesses get listed
Businesses pay to be listed on My Small Towns.
A listing marked Verified means two things:
- the business has a paid listing with us
- we have confirmed its location and that it is a registered, active business
Verified does not mean we have tested the business’s work or that we guarantee it. Read reviews, ask for references and compare quotes as you would with any provider.
How our articles are written
Our articles are written by people with the help of AI tools.
Many of them are written for a business listed in the directory and cover topics related to that business’s services. Those articles name the business they were written for.
Articles about health, legal and financial topics are general information. They are not professional advice, and they are not a substitute for speaking to a qualified professional about your own situation.
How the site makes money
My Small Towns earns its income from paid business listings. We don’t charge residents to use the directory, the articles or the quote comparison tool.
